Ryan's Birthday!

Our sweet little Ry Ry turned 2 on Monday! He is completely obsessed with Tow Mater and Lightning McQueen, so I was lucky I found a bunch of "Cars 3" decorations at WalMart for his little party.
Here is the awesome cake my mom made him for his birthday. He kept asking to be held so he could look at it and he may have licked the icing a few times.
Sitting at the dining room table with his Lightning McQueen swag.
Opening presents!
I love Jamie's expression in this one! The girls were trying to open Ryan's gifts for him because he wasn't going fast enough for them. Haha.
He loves cars so much right now!
Singing Happy Birthday.

He definitely enjoyed his cake! We love Ryan so much and are so happy he is a part of our family. I can hardly believe he's 2 years old!

Swim Lessons for Summer!

We just finished up swim lessons for the girls this past week! They had a blast and loved every minute of it. April was in the Preschool level class, so they didn't do much more than blow bubbles and get comfortable in the water, but that's ok. April still loved it! She wore her goggles on the first day, but decided after that she wanted to do without them.
Here's April with her class. She had 7-9 kids in her class every day! She is wearing the goggles and the red rash guard.
April with her swim teacher, Miss Alexis on the last day of class. She LOVED her.
Jamie was in Level One this year, where they really focus on learning to swim. She made so much progress and is swimming all over our neighborhood pool now! She only had 4-5 kids in her class, so they got a lot of individual attention. She is wearing the bright pink rash guard in the picture.

Ryan enjoyed hanging out by the side of the pool with me and eating his breakfast. After the first few days I started putting him in his swimsuit too so he could wade around and play. He loved that!

On the last day of class, all the kids get to go down the slides at the city pool. Here is April going down the little slide. She went down this one a million times!

Then they also have this really tall slide at the other end of the pool. Here is April going down the really tall slide. She did this one twice!

Jamie went down the little slide. She was too scared to go down the big one. Maybe next year! We had a blast at swim lessons this year and the girls did great! I am so proud of them! We are happy that Grami could come and watch them several times, and also Auntie Agey and Auntie Alli.
